- Q: How do I pay for a trip to the airport on the shuttle?
A: You can purchase tickets online or at the kiosk at the shuttle stop. Ticket vending machines are located at each pick-up location for the service. You may pay by using Visa/Master Card or Cash (exact amount only). The drivers do not sell tickets and cannot make change. It’s best to purchase your ride card well in advance of your departure time.
Shuttle reservations are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Shuttle tickets purchased at the kiosks expire 30 days from the day of purchase. - Q. Are tickets refundable or transferable?
A: No. Tickets are non-transferable (you cannot transfer tickets to a different date or person). Tickets are also non-refundable. - Q. How much does your service cost?
A: Fares starting at:
Airport Shuttle Service: One way $16.00 or Round trip $32.00 per person
Private car service: One way $97.00 or Round trip $177.00 - Q: How much luggage may I bring on the shuttle?
A: You may bring two suit cases of no greater than 70 lbs or 62 linear inches and one carry item which must be able to fit under your seat or in the compartment overhead. - Q: Is there a charge for small children?
A: Children ages 3 and under may ride the Airport shuttle for free. - Q: Can I travel with my pet on the shuttle?
A: Yes. Animals must be crated and fit in our luggage compartment. Of course service animals for impaired passengers are always welcome. - Q: Do I need a reservation to ride?
A: We recommend you make a reservation online at www.goexpresstravel.com or by calling us at 812-332-6004. During busy travel periods our reserved riders are always seated first. - Q: Can I pre-pay a ticket for someone?
A: You may purchase online and input the "passenger name" on the payment page. You may purchase a ride card from any of the vending machines at the shuttle pick-up locations at any time and mail it to the passenger. You may also call our office no less than one week in advance and we can mail a ticket out for you (there is a fee to do this). - Q: When should I be at the shuttle stop to catch the bus?
A: We recommend you are waiting at your shuttle stop no less than five minutes before the scheduled departure time, make sure you have purchased a ride card. - Q: What if I have more than one carry on and two checked suitcases?
A: The shuttle bus luggage compartments have a limit on space per passenger. If you will be bringing additional items you will need to purchase an additional ride card and use the seat next to you. - Q: Exactly how does the airport shuttle ticket machine work?
A: Inside at each shuttle stop a blue ticket vending machine is there to serve you. You simply insert cash in the exact amount of the fare in the bill acceptor and then press any of the lighted buttons and a plastic ride card is then dispensed. It’s important to remember that you have one minute when you start feeding money into the machine to complete your purchase ! To use your credit card just swipe your card with the mag stripe as shown on the machine and when the flashing lights turn solid press any ticket button and wait for the authorization. Give your card to the driver when you board the shuttle. - Q: Can the shuttle buses be rented for use by private groups?
A: Of course ! It’s called chartering a bus and we do it every day. Bloomington Shuttle, GO Express Travel, is insured and licensed to provide both large and small group transportation to anyplace in the U.S., Canada or Mexico. Just call our reservation center at 800-589-6004 and tell us where you would like to go! - Q: Where do I find the shuttle at the airport ?
A: The shuttle picks up at the Ground Transportation Center located directly across from baggage claim area on the lower level of the main terminal. You’ll find our kiosk and ticket vending machine there.
